Trukulutru – Documentary

Synopsis:

Trukulutru is a trip through the lesbian queer scene in Italy, particularly regarding Rome where the Vatican is located. Our protagonist Titiritesa (Carina Wachsmann) is leading us through the discovery of this world by interviewing diverse personalities of the show business, of politics, of nightlife, church members, but also common people and places, demonstrations and women’s hotspots showing how the women’s movement has been changed in the past 30 years. An intriguing yet sparkling fairy-tale called “Titiritesa” about two princesses is the frame of the film, interpreted and co-produced by Carina Wachsmann.
