Black Days, White Nights
„Black Days, White Nights“ celebrates the beauty of contrast and diversity that surround us in a world full of prejudices, racial hatred and intolerance towards what is different from us.
Black and white, light and dark, hope and despair, life and death. It all can only exist with it’s equivalent opposite. Light only has a meaning in relation to darkness. Hope only exists when despair precedes. Death gives meaning to our lives.
Monumental locations in Rome and the Vatican City become the perfect setting for this film, a suggestive scenery for challenging contrasts and witness of contradictions of thousands of years. This is the place where arts and diversity melt into beauty and where literally heaven and hell collapse and rise at the same time.
